This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the server, which is processed there in log files: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested and the volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, and where applicable the page previously visited.
This processing is necessary in order to deliver the site and to keep its operation secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically sound and secure operation of the site. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify.
As the provider is based in the USA, data may be transferred there. Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer rests on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Netlify has entered into the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Implementing Decision 2021/914). The entry can be checked at dataprivacyframework.gov.
This website sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising or tracking services. No fonts, scripts or images are loaded from third-party servers — every part of the page comes from the same server that serves the page. No consent banner is therefore required.
The contact page carries a form. We process what you enter there: name and email address as required fields, and optionally company, approximate quantity, product description and timeline. The sole purpose is to deal with your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where this concerns the initiation of a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. The required fields are necessary for us to reply; without them we cannot process the enquiry.
Submission runs through the form service of our host Netlify; the submission is stored there and forwarded to us by email. The same statements on processing and transfer to the USA apply as in section 2. Against automated submissions we use a hidden field that stays invisible to you — no captcha and no Google service; no additional data is collected by it.
We delete form submissions once they are no longer needed; if the enquiry leads to a business relationship, commercial and tax retention periods apply.
If you write or call, we process the data you provide — name, contact details and the content of your message — in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where this concerns the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Our mailboxes are operated via Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Business correspondence is retained for the periods required by commercial and tax law; beyond that we delete messages once they are no longer needed.
To arrange calls we link to Calendly (Calendly, LLC, 115 E Main St., Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA). The booking window is not embedded in our site — no data is transferred to Calendly until you follow the link. From that point Calendly's own privacy notice additionally applies.
If you book, we receive your name, email address and the details you enter, in order to hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calendly processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Calendly, LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer to the USA rests on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Calendly has entered into the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
In searching for manufacturers we process business contact details of companies and their representatives — name, role, business email address and phone number, and the related correspondence. Sources are companies' own publicly available information, industry directories, trade fair listings and sourcing platforms.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in initiating business relationships with potential suppliers. You may object at any time — a message to info@tl-sourcing.de is enough and we will not contact you again.
Your data is shared only where necessary to deal with your matter — for example with our contacts on the ground, with a manufacturer within a specific project, or with service providers acting on our instructions. It is not shared for advertising purposes.
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. An informal message to info@tl-sourcing.de is sufficient.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in your country of residence or with the authority responsible for us:
