Block 01
Manufacturer search
Not „three links from a portal“, but a shortlist that holds up. We approach
factories directly, in their language and their time zone, and filter before you
are asked to read anything.
What we do
- Turn your brief into a specification a factory can actually work from.
- Identify suitable manufacturers — via portals, trade fair lists, industry directories and existing contacts.
- Pre-qualify: do they really produce this themselves, at this scale, for export?
- Collect quotations on a common basis, instead of lining up prices that cover different things.
What you get
- An overview of suppliers with price breaks, MOQ, lead time and payment terms.
- An assessment of each: factory or trading company, export experience, responsiveness.
- A recommendation with reasons — and the suppliers we advise against, with reasons too.
What we do not do: we do not search for manufacturers of products
that infringe other companies' brands, designs or industrial property rights.
That costs you more later than it ever returns.
Block 02
Supplier verification
A quotation says nothing about whether goods will arrive. Before money moves,
we establish who you are dealing with — on paper and, if you want it, on site.
On paper
- Business licence and registry data: does the company exist, since when, for what purpose?
- Export entitlement and experience with deliveries into the EU.
- Product and system certificates — present, valid, and actually issued to this plant.
- Bank account and company name on one name: if the payee differs, we clear that up before anything is transferred.
On site
- A visit to the plant rather than the showroom — machinery, running production, warehouse.
- An assessment of real capacity against stated capacity.
- Photographs and a report, so you can form your own view.
Block 03
Samples & product development
Across a language barrier and 9,000 kilometres, the space between „understood“
and „built“ is wider than people expect. So nothing goes into production that
has not been held in someone's hand first.
Samples
- Request samples, with cost and lead time agreed up front.
- Check against the specification: dimensions, material, weight, workmanship, function.
- Deviations go back to the factory in writing and with photographs, confirmed before the next step.
- The approved sample is kept as the reference — mass production is measured against it.
Development, packaging, labelling
- Adjustments to an existing factory model, through to a version of your own.
- Packaging: inner box, master carton, dimensions and weights — they drive your freight cost.
- Labelling and mandatory markings settled early, not when the container is already waiting.
We support you on marking and conformity for the European market, but we do not
replace legal advice or accredited testing. Where a test house is required,
we say so and bring one in.
Block 04
Quality control
Once goods are on the vessel they can no longer be corrected, only claimed for.
So inspection happens while the factory can still change something.
During
In-line inspection
A check on part of the produced quantity while corrections are still possible.
Worth doing on a first cooperation and on large orders.
After
Final inspection
After completion, before loading: sampling to an agreed plan, dimensions,
function, workmanship, packaging, quantities and labelling.
Result
Report and decision
A report with photographs and findings, plus a clear recommendation:
accept, rework or stop. The decision is yours.
Working together
When we fit — and when we don't.
We fit if you …
- want a specific product sourced and know what you need it for.
- care that verification happens before ordering, even when it costs time.
- have a quantity in mind that a factory can work with.
- want one contact rather than a platform with a ticket system.
We don't fit if you …
- need single units or very small quantities — the effort does not carry it.
- want a copy of a protected product made.
- want the lowest price regardless of what comes out at the end.
- expect a guaranteed purchase price before anyone has been asked.
Tell us what you need.
The fastest way in is a short call: product, quantity, timeline.
After that you will know whether and how it can be done.
